pianist, bandleader, studied harmony and piano with Dupuis at Conservatoire de Paris, 10.jul.1925 2e prix piano, 23.jul.1926 2e prix piano with the qualification 'tres bon pianiste qui a de bonnes articulations et joue avec un beau mecanisme, jeu manie et tres subtil', before the war he earned his living as piano teacher and playing on radio, 1940 he became a prisoner of war and through the Red Cross he was allowed to organize a small orchestra to entertain his fellow prisoners, after the war he formed an 48 member orchestra for radio broadcasts, 1953 leader of the big band Emile Noblot et son grand orchestre, as pianist he accompanied the accordionist Rene Joly, he died 1965 at the age of 56 which is why most sources give his year of birth erroneously as 1909 ; he married Jeanne Vion
