flutist, 1844 studied at Brussels Conservatory in Belgium, 1847 first prize in flute, after his studies he settled in Belgium and made long tours in Europe and America, 24-30.mar.1856 he gave concerts with Henri Wieniawski and Auguste Dupont at Frascati and Park Theater in Amsterdam, Pedro de Assisi called him 'divine belgian flutist and incomparable virtuoso who never had a rival in the whole world', he became flute teacher at the conservatory of Rio de Janeiro and was teacher of Manoel Marcellino do Valle (Brazil 1839-) and Augusto Paulo Estrada Meyer (Brazil 1846-) ; son of musician of the 14e Infanterie in Maastricht Joannes Andreas Reichert and ironer Maria Joanna Schellings who married 14.jan.1830 in Maastricht and resided at the Capucijnerstraat, 1868 his father was bandmaster of the 77e Garde Regiment Koninklijke Pruissische Infanterie
