(South Dakota, Veblen 22.nov.1917-) and Jeanne Louise Eastman (Minneapolis 1923-7.apr.1957 Kentucky, Warren) ; he married University of Oklahoma and New York University educated nurse Maureen Elizabeth Somers (Pennsylvania, Scranton 1.jul.1954-) ; son Joseph Martin Running III
