the publication gives the following 'explanation' [abacadabra even for a native dutchman] :
"is alleen voor twee Violen gezet, zynde voor de twee Instrumenten maar een Party, en deeze volgens de gemaakte Schikkingen geexecuteerd wordende, zal bevonden worden, dat daarin de Harmonie en Melodie, niet minder als of voor yder Instrument eene aparte Party gezet was"
translated into modern english it still remains abacadabra :
"is set for two Violins only, being for the two Instruments only one Part, and this according the Settlements made and being executed, it will be found, that the Harmony and Melody, no less as if for either Instrument a Part was set"
