organist, choral conductor, music teacher, his regular profession was initially carpenter and later teacher carpentry, 1884-1909 organist of the St Hubertuskapel in Amsterdam, 1884-1913 director of Liedertafel 'St Gregorius' of the St Josephs-Gezellen-Vereeniging (society for the promotion of craftsmanship mainly of apprentice carpenters, masons and blacksmiths) in Amsterdam, 25.jun.1895 he gave a concert with his liedertafel St Caecilia at the Wereldtentoonstelling (World's fair) in Amsterdam, 4.feb.1896 he gave a concert with his Liedertafel 'St Cecilia Inter Nos' accompanied by pianist Hubert Cuypers at Huize Stroucken in Amsterdam, 1897 also director of zangvereeniging St Bonifacius in Zaandam, 21.feb.1898 on piano he accompanied the male chorus 'Inter Nos' at the meeting 'Onze strijd tegen den verderfelijke alcohol' ('Our battle against the pernicious alcohol') of Het Kruisverbond at Cafe Concordia in Amsterdam, 24.nov.1898 as director of R.K. Zangvereeniging 'Oefening en Genoegen' he gave a soiree at Huize Vondel in Amsterdam, 9.may.1909 he celebrated his 25th anniversary as organist of the St Hubertuskapel and director of liedertafel St Gregorius, 1911-1912 residing at Zieseniskade 1 in Amsterdam, 30.dec.1911 he advertized as 'gedipl. Leeraar (qualified teacher) Piano, Zang, Orgel en Harmonieleer systeem prof. De Sonnaville en speciale opleiding voor Quartet- en Koorzang', 10.apr.1912 he gave a Muzikale Soiree with his music and carpentry students at Parkzicht ; son of molenaar (miller) and organist Hendrik Winnubst (Medemblik 22.oct.1822-4.jan.1891 Medemblik) and Neeltje Molenaar-Knol (Medemblik 4.dec.1821-22.apr.1877 Medemblik) ; he married Anna Maria Swart (Amsterdam 1.oct.1858-18.apr.1924 Amsterdam) ; son composer Johan Winnubst (Amsterdam 24.dec.1885-19.jun.1934 Utrecht)
