bandmaster in Longiano, until 1894 he was the first piano, organ and music teacher of Federico Marini (Falconara Marittima 1880-) in or near Falconara, Abbati then helped him to be adopted at Liceo musicale in Pesaro to continue his study, he may have been the Dionigio Abbati who wrote a Sonetta per la prima Messa (1848) and two Anacreontic poems for weddings (1855 and 1866) published by Albertini in Rimini, the large manuscript collection of
Dario Rambelli (Lugo 1859-1926) composer and teacher at Scuola di Musica Malerbi in Lugo included 9 unpublished compositions by Dionigio Abbiati, Dionigio Abbati and Dionigio Abbiati are most likely the same person although this cannot be verified from the compositions
