clarinetist, pianist, bandmaster, 23.nov.1910 aged 18 emigrated to the USA, settling in New York City, 21.jun.1918-13.mar.1919 he served in the US Navy in WWI, 1920 as musician residing at First Avenue in Manhattan with his parents and siblings who had all immigrated in 1919, 1925-1942 as musician and director orchestra residing at 9516 42nd Avenue in New York Elmhurst Long Island, 1926 teacher harmony, counterpoint, practical composition, also elementary piano, clarinet and saxophone, 1935-1936 bandmaster of the Brooklyn Concert Band, 1935-1936 bandmaster of the New York State Symphonic Band, 1936-1937 bandmaster of the Hudson Concert Band of the federal music project in New York City, 1940-1942 music teacher for the federal music project WPA (Works Project Administration) (Federal Works Agency) in New York City ; 1920 he married Jennie Saccente (Italy 1893-17.oct.1952 New York Elmhurst)
