pianist, violinist, conductor, studied violin and piano at the Conservatorio Nacional in Mexico City, 1896 debuted as conductor of a zarzuela company of Tampico, later conductor of the symphony orchestra in Monterrey, as pianist he toured the USA, 1916 conductor of Sinfonica Nacional, Sinfonica del Conservatorio Nacional and Sinfonica de la Union Mexicana de Filarmonicos, 1919 he accompanied cellist Pablo Casals in Mexico City, 1923 he made a long international tour as pianist and conductor in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, 1910-1930 opera conductor at major theaters in Mexico City, Monterrey and San Luis Potosi, 1930 he retired from public performances to devote himself to teaching opera repertoire and singing at his private academy at Columbus Street 23 in Alameda Central Mexico City, at the time of World War II he settled in Los Angeles where he worked as conductor and teacher of singing
