jazz pianist, vibraphonist, 1940 residing with his father and stepmother at East 17th Street in New York Manhattan, 1942 aged 16 he had abandoned his father and stepmother and lived with the 21 year old Mattie Licata (probably his sister Maria because he called her next of kin) at 276 Avenue A in New York Manhattan, 1944 he played with Stan Getz in a band formed by John Benson Brooks at the Howard Theater in Washington, late 1940s to early 1950s in his own Arcadia Ballroom band with trombonist Kai Winding, in the group Shorty Allen and the Skirt Chasers, as pianist he accompanied the demanding Ella Fitzgerald, 1952 he played vibraphone on a Leslie Uggams session for the record label owner Joe Davis ; son of Pennsylvania Railroad brake inspector Nunzio Alleluia (Italy, Corato 9.nov.1892-15.dec.1982 Los Angeles Azusa) and Susan Girard (15.aug.1900-25.jun.1929 New Jersey, Vineland) ; 6.sep.1930 he became stepson of Teresa Eluli (Italy, Corato 8.jan.1909-)
