double bassist, 1964 grew up in Cleveland Ohio, 1980-1984 BA in double bass performance from the University of Cincinnati, studied double bass with Frank Proto, Warren Benfield and Stuart Sanke, 1984-1985 played for and took lessons with Jaco Pastorius in New York City, taught double bass at the University of Louisville and the North Kentucky School of Music in Lakeside Park near Cincinnati, 1994 double bassist in the Britt Festival Orchestra in Oregon, 1996 double bassist of the Louisiana Philharmonic New Orleans ; son of Edwin Dewey Anderson (Massachusetts, Hingham 14.jul.1933-), 1964-1985 bass trombonist of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra and 1985-1998 professor of trombone at Indiana University Bloomington
