Anelli, Alfredo (Alfred) 4.nov.1877-nov.1974 Italy, Vasto - Udine
pianist, caricaturist, 1895 studied piano and composition with Oscar Palermi and Camillo de Nardis at Conservatorio di musica San Pietro a Majella in Naples completing the entire program in 36 months that usually took many years, after graduation he returned to Vasto where he gave concerts at Teatro Rossetti, 5.jan.1904 he emigrated to the USA where he continued his concert career and taught piano, 1910 as music teacher residing with wife and son at 1788 Madison Avenue in New York Manhattan, 1911 he gave a concert at a sold out Carnegie Hall, 9.oct.1912 he arrived with wife and son at New York from Naples, 1915-1916 as musician/piano teacher residing with wife, son and daughter at 342 16th Street in Manhattan, 1917 he became naturalized american, 1917-1920 as musician and piano teacher residing with wife, son and daughter at 2203 Belmont Avenue in New York Bronx, 1922 on the untimely death of his wife he returned to Italy and lived in Teramo and Genoa, later he settled until death in Trieste, he died after a few days of hospitalization in Udine ; 1907 in Italy he married Edilia Manzitti (Italy 1880-4.jan.1922 Manhattan) ; son Alfredo (Manhattan 29.sep.1908-), daughter Dalina (Manhattan feb.1915-)
