his birth is also given as 24.sep.1816 which may have been his baptismal date, he founded several Societes d'harmonie in Condroz and Hesbaye, notably with that of Warnant he gained grand success, as music teacher he resided for a long time at chateau de Borsut near Jehay before settling in Liege where he married, after having resided for some time in Brussel he settled in Seilles, organist in Andenne near Seilles ; son of composer Hubert ; in Liege he married Constance Clemence Theodore Marie Goube
