countess, amateur singer, pianist, librettist, novelist, daughter of marquis de Olinda regent of Brazil, studied singing with Jean de Reszke and composition with Jules Massenet and Andre Gedalge in Paris, 1906-1936 member of Societe des Auteurs, Compositeurs et Editeurs de Musique (SACEM), at least 1903-1924 she resided and performed as singer Gina de Araujo in Paris also while her husband was ambassador elsewhere, 10.apr.1905 she sang the main role in a Revue at a salon at Champs-Elysees, as writer she was distinguished by the Academie Francaise ; 12.nov.1908 at eglise Saint-Augustin in Paris she married ambassador Raul Regis de Oliveira (Paris 10.oct.1874-9.jul.1942) with whom she lived at times 1913-1914 in Havana, 1915-1916 in Vienna, 1919 in Paris, 1920-1922 in Den Haag, 1923 in Mexico City, 1925-1937 in England
