Armstrong & Co. at 710 Sansom Street, 1884-1897 residing at his own home 1318 Reed Street, 1887 music printer of John M. Armstrong & Co. at 1508 North 12th Street and music printer and publisher of the music publishing Armstrong & Hugg at 710 Sansom Street, 1888-1897 as manager of the music printer and publisher Armstrong & Hugg at 710 Sansom Street, he died at the Methodist Hospital aged 39 and married, 14.aug.1897 his funeral was arranged by the Welcome Lodge No.453 and Harmony HRAC No.52 and was buried at Mount Moriah Cemetery ; son of composer/music printer John M Armstrong (New York 1836-24.jan.1878 Philadelphia) and Julia M Armstrong (1839-a1911 Philadelphia)
