pianist, teacher piano, 11.jan.1869 emigrated to the USA Chicago, 1870 as music teacher residing with wife and son Frederick at 77 Powers Street in New York Brooklyn, 1875 as teacher of music residing with wife, son Rudolphe and daughter Adele at 69 Third Avenue in Brooklyn, 1880 as divorced professor of music boarding in Brooklyn, also piano teacher at the Brooklyn Conservatory where he met his second wife, 1892 as naturalized american residing in Brooklyn, 1900-1916 as musician and piano teacher residing at 98 Greene Avenue in Brooklyn, 1900 with wife and a servant, 1.may.1909 he gave a recital with his pupils Mrs. Ernest G Mueller and Miss Lillie Uhlhorn at the Pouch Gallery in Brooklyn, he was member of the Tonkuenstler Society in Brooklyn, 29.may.1920 aged 83 he was accompanist at Prof Huelle's violin pupils recital at Kedron Hall Brooklyn, he died aged 92 at 72 Thomas Street in Bloomfield and was buried with his wife at Marathon Cemetery NY ; son of Friederich Arnold (Hannover-) and Adelheid Dolder (Hannover-) ; 15.jan.1869 in Manhattan he married Helmine Scheurmann (Germany, Carlshafen 1850-), divorced c1878 ; son Frederick (Brooklyn 1869-), son Rudolphe (Brooklyn 26.jun.1870-), daughter Adelheid 'Adele' (Brooklyn 19.mar.1875-) ; 20.jun.1883 in Brooklyn he married teacher of music Ellen Frances Halleck (Manhattan 16.jan.1839-29.jan.1916 Brooklyn) ; they never had children
