Aronson, Rudolph 8.apr.1856-4.feb.1919 USA NY, New York - New York
pianist, theatre manager, studied music in Berlin and Paris, on his return to New York he organized and produced light and popular concerts, for many years manager of the Bijou theater of New York City, he was the projector and builder of the Metropolitan Concert Hall and the Casino with the first roof garden in America, 1.oct.1891 he gave the first New York performance of Cavalleria Rusticana at the Casino, 1900 still single residing at the home of his 86 year old widowed father together with 3 also still single sisters and a servant, all living on his income, 1913 he published his 'Theatrical and Musical Memoirs', his younger brother Edward was his music publisher
