cornetist, bandmaster, 1892 his family emigrated to the USA Phoenix Arizona and 1896 settled in San Francisco, 1911-1940 he resided at 554 Third Avenue, 1914-1928 cornetist of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, 1918-1930 cornetist at the Majestic Theatre San Francisco, 1924 member of the Lakeside Park Band under Paul Steindorff, 1931-1932 cornetist of the NBC Concert Orchestra, 1934-1940 bandmaster of the Golden Gate Park Band ; son of musician/music teacher Espiritu (Espirito) Senobio Arriola Bernal (Hermosillo 11.nov.1852-6.apr.1924 San Francisco) and Loreto (Loretta) Montes (Mexico apr.1858-22.nov.1913 San Francisco) ; 1912-1914 the talented entertainer Lillian May Webber alias May Beach (committed suicide 12.mar.1914 at the Adams Hotel in Ventura California) claimed that she was married to Alfred Arriola but at her death her teacher Espirito Arriola stated that his son was not and had never been married ; 1920 after being widowed from his first wife he married Margaret McCann (San Francisco 11.jun.1894-) ; son Alfred William (San Francisco 16.jul.1921-)
