military bandmaster, born at Rue Taillade, 1868 musician in the band of 22e Le Ligne stationed at Caserne Saint Victor in Marseille, 1883 residing in Arcachon Gironde, 10.aug.1883 after 25 years and 5 months in military service, taking part in 7 campaigns, the last 10 years as bandmaster he retired with a military distinction and military pension, 1888 bandmaster of Fanfare Sainte-Cecile de Langon (near Bazas), 28.may.1888 he won 'unanimite' the premier prix at the Concours de musique by l'Echo Musical de Bordeaux with his composition of a pas redouble pour harmonie, 1906 with various professions residing with his wife Pauline in Bordeaux Pessac ; son of tailor/sacristan Francois Audoir (1807-) and seamstress Anne Estenave (1815-) ; 30.apr.1868 in Marseille he married seamstress Catherine Pauline Pages (Toulouse 25.apr.1840-) and adopted her illegitimate son who then legally became Charles Pantaleon Audoir (Toulouse 7.oct.1862-1907)
