organist, sexton, 1889-1895 studied music with Hermann Joseph Richard, 1889 organist of the Pfarrei St Severin in Hermuhlheim, 17.jul.1895 H J Richard recommended him for a post of organist but he never leaved St Severin, 1910-1920 residing in Barmen (since 1929 Wuppertal), 1911-1916 in Koln Hermuhlheim he was the music teacher of Jean Aussem, 1922 residing in Langenberg Rheinland, 1935 as kuster (sexton) of the Pfarrei St Severin residing at Kirchstrasse 43A in Koln Hermuhlheim, 30.apr.1939 he celebrated his 50th anniversary as organist and sexton of St Severin, 7.mar.1949 he retired from the 60 years of serving the parish church St Severin as organist and sexton ; he married Sibilla Metternich ; related to composer Jean Aussem
