cornetist, studied music in Sweden and Germany, 1890 enlisted in the Royal Navy Band of Sweden, 1893 active in Oslo Norway, 15.oct.1893 emigrated from Oslo to the USA, 1817 as chauffeur residing at 212 West Main Street in Richmond Virginia, 4.oct.1917 in Richmond for the first time declared his intention to become american citizen, 1918-1920 as chauffeur residing at 1316 Harvard Street in Washington DC, 9.aug.1918 in Washington DC for the second time declared his intention to become american citizen, 1926 established the Austin Music Publishing Company in New York City, 1930-1932 as private chauffeur and composer of music residing at 802 Lexington Avenue Manhattan, 21.jun.1932 in New York for the third time declared his intention to become american citizen, 1940 finally naturalized as private chauffeur residing at East 63rd Street in Manhattan ; son of Axel Austin and Anna Darsau ; 26.nov.1910 in Boston Massachusetts he married Elin Viola Olsson (Sweden, Alvsaker 23.dec.1888-1982 NY, Scarsdale) ; they had no children
