conductor, impresario, in Spain active as zarzuela singer and conductor, 1889 settled in Mexico on invitation by Luis Arcaraz Chopitea where he started his theatrical career, independent from Arcaraz he gained a reputation as choral and orchestral conductor, 1888 conductor of the zarzuela company of Isidoro Pastor, 1890-1891 of the company of Enrique Labrada, 1896 he founded Compania Infantil Mexicana de Zarzuela which gained him great and lasting successes at Teatro Arbeu, Circo Orrin and on tours in Mexico, 1902 Luis Arcaraz took legal action to prohibit him from performing spanish and later also mexican zarzuelas which even led to his imprisonment, 1904 bandmaster of Agrupacion de Bandas Militares, 1907 with Jesus Araoz and Ignacio Quezadas he founded Orfeon Popular
