flutist, 1834-1840 studied flute with Niccolo Zingarelli and composition with Gaetano Donizetti at Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples but because of disputes with the director Saverio Mercadante did not receive his diploma, 1855 after traveling Europe he stayed in Paris and Brussel for a while and 7.may.1859 arrived with his wife in London, 1870 as widowed professor of singing residing with his daughters at the music school of professor of singing Giuseppe Campanella at 13 Clifton Gardens in London Paddington, until 1896 teacher of singing in London, 1896 he settled in Milan where he resided at 17 via Monte di Peeta ; 1854 he married singer Teresa Martinetti (Sardinia-) ; daughter Carlottina/Carlotta (Italy 1856-), daughter Antonilla (Italy 1859-)
