violinist, organist, choirmaster, studied at Conservatoire de Perpignan, violin with Delphin Allard in Paris, harmony with Papault and Victor Dourieu, composition with Antoine Elwart, was first violinist at teatro del Liceu Barcelona, 1857 organist of Sant Mateu Perpignan, 1860 founder and conductor of l'Orpheon de Perpignan, 1868-1908 director Conservatoire de Perpignan, 14.jul.1885 made Officier de l'Instruction publique ; son of Francois Urbain Baille (c1810-) and Catherine Pech (c1810-) ; he married Elisabeth Marie Catherine Esteve (-10.dec.1877 Perpignan) ; their sons are composer Casimir Baille (c1855-1917) and architect Leon Victor Alexandre Baille (Perpignan 12.oct.1862-) ; their daughter clarinetist Marguerite Baille played Weber's concerto at the Conservatoire de Perpignan mar.1884
