violinist, theatre conductor, baptized on the day of his birth at Sankt Emmeran in Mainz, in his youth he led the vaudeville orchestra at the French Theatre in Mainz, 1801 as violinist he entered the new orchestra of the theater in Frankfurt am Main, with Scheible he organized the Liebhaber-Concerte in Frankfurt, later he founded the singing society 'Caecilia', 1.oct.1851 he celebrated his jubilee of fifty years as first violin and director of the choir at the theatre ; son of composer Ulrich ; brother of the composers Johann Baptist sr., Conrad I and Johann Baptist jr. ; he married Marianna Carolina Rosina Bournye (1793-24.dec.1850 Frankfurt) ; son composer Johann Daniel
