bandmaster, teacher, grew up in Nashua, studied with George James Webb in Boston, 4.jun.1861-9.aug.1861 served in the New Hampshire 1st Infantry Regiment at Concord, 1850-1870 teacher piano and organ in Nashua and 1860-1900 in Manchester, 1883-1893 dealer musical instruments in Manchester, 1890 organist of the First Congregational Society Church in Manchester, president of the State Association ; son of Edwin Baldwin (7.sep.1807-4.jul.1848) and Orpah Moore (Nashua 1810-28.may.1835), stepmother Mary Ann Ballard (died 25.jan.1845), stepmother Mary B Lowell (died sep.1848), 1849-1880 he resided with aunt Elmira Moore (born 1798) ; 30.oct.1854 he married Mary L Robinson (died 20.apr.1859) ; 6.oct.1861 he married Sarah C Kendrick (born 13.sep.1837)
