concert organist, until at least 1860 residing in Middletown and 1870 in nearby Middlefield with his widowed mother Alvina at the homes of his grandmother Lucy Birdsey Coe (Middletown 5.sep.1799-20.jul.1888 Middlefield), 1893 played at Chickering Hall New York, 1904 at Steinway Hall New York, 1905 at Royal Albert Hall London and the cathedrals of Lucerne Switzerland, of Antwerp and Brussels Belgium and throughout the USA, 1882-1930 he was publisher M C Baldwin & Co. in Middletown and Chicago, 1910-1935 as traveling organist residing with his mother Alvina at 34 Burr Avenue in Middletown, 1936 he moved to Boston, around 1930 after his marriage he shortly resided in Orlando Florida, 4.dec.1932 when his wife died he resided at Wareham ; son of Minor Warren Baldwin (Connecticut, Cheshire sep.1832-4.oct.1855 Middletown) and Alvina Elizabeth Coe (?Middletown 14.nov.1835-1923 Middletown) who married 11.may.1854 in Middletown and settled in Middletown ; 9.jan.1882 in Boston he married Olive 'Ollie' H Sinclair (died 18.mar.1909 Ossipee NH) ; 1928 in Orlando Florida he married Louise Gammons (Mrs. Horace Miller Sproat) (Massachusetts Falmouth 1853-4.dec.1932 at Gaston Hotel New Bern NC)
