studied with Wolfango dalla Vecchia and Franco Donatoni at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and the Academia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, 1982 obtained a scholarship from the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris where he studied with Pierre Boulez, Brian Ferneyhough, Giacomo Manzoni and Salvatore Sciarrino, professor of music at the University of Venice and the Conservatories of Udine, Adria, Rovigo and Trieste
