singer, songwriter, mainly as lyricist, born at 7 Rue du Pot-de-Fer, 16.jul.1902 graduated as doctor of medicine but never practiced, 'I do not trust medicine' he explained, 1902-1914 residing at 1 Rue d'Hauteville in Paris Porte-Saint-Denis, 1919 at 26 Boulevard de Strasbourg in Paris Porte-Saint-Martin, he self-published his numerous chansons and those of other songwriters as L. Benech or F. L.
