doctor of medicine (specialized in voice), amateur baritone singer, studied medicine in Vienna, Pavia, 1826 graduating in Padua, 1828-1829 he sang and collaborated with the singer/pianist Carlo Michelangelo Sola at the nobility's concerts in London and in Edinburgh, 1829 settled in Paris where he was attached as a doctor at Theatre des Italiens, 1832 his study of the human voice Recherches sur le mecanisme de la voix humaine was published by the Societe des sciences physiques et chimiques, 1832 he published Recherches sur les maladies qui affectent les organes de la voix humaine, the both combined was awarded the prize founded by M. de Montyon from the Academy of Sciences of Paris, 1833 he published Etudes physiologiques et pathologiques sur les organes de la voix humaine, 1834 Memoire sur un cas particulier d'anomalie de la voix humaine pendant le chant, 1832-1833 residing at 15 Rue Taitbout in Paris, 9.mar.1834 at the age of 36 he fell from a horse hitting his head on the pavement and died the following day
