baritone singer, choral conductor, teacher voice, studied at Lake Forest Academy Illinois, started his career as baritone singer concertizing for several years, 1920-1923 he organized and conducted the Philharmonic Society Chorus in Bloomington Illinois, back in Milwaukee he became conductor of the Symphonic Male Chorus bringing it to a status of national fame, conductor of the Lyric Male Chorus appearing at the White House on request of president Herbert Hoover and on Biennal Conventions of the National Federation of Music Clubs in Boston and Minneapolis, 1948 residing at 2047 North 51st Street in Milwaukee, 1955 moved to St Petersburg ; 12.apr.1909 in Crown Point Indiana he married Mary Vernon Montgomery (Texas c1887-), divorced by 1930 when Vernon resided with their 2 children in Los Angeles ; 15.nov.1936 in Milwaukee he married Nora May Parker nee Smith (Kentucky c1907-a1964), no children
