pianist, graduated from the South Omaha High School, studied piano with Wager Swayne in Paris, in Switzerland and with Rudolph Ganz in the USA, 1915 debuted at the Princess Theatre in New York, appeared in recitals in the US and abroad, gave two concerts in Paris and joint recitals with her husband in the US, 1916-1960 residing at 5018 Izard Street Omaha Nebraska, 1916-1942 pianist and music teacher with private studios in Omaha, 1932 head of the piano normal training department of the University of Omaha, 1942-1960 with her husband she founded the Berryman Piano Conservatoire in Omaha, 1950 at 206 Lyric Building, wrote articles for the Musical Observer and Music News, member of the Omaha Clef Club, Nebraska State Teachers Association and the Omaha Music Teachers Association, died at a long-term care nursing home in Westlake Ohio ; daughter of farmer George Warren Davis (Georgia jul.1862-28.oct.1923 Omaha) and Alice Clark (NY, Silver Creek oct.1863-) ; 19.dec.1916 in Omaha she married composer Cecil Wells Berryman ; sons composer Edward Davis (Omaha 8.feb.1920-), pianist/organist Warren (Omaha 24.feb.1922-) and pianist/organist Rudolph Barton (Omaha 25.feb.1929-)
