harpist, 1810 studied harp with Francois Joseph Naderman at the Conservatoire de Paris, 1815 studied harp with Nicolas Charles Bochsa, 1817 debuted as harpist in Paris, from 1820 she made numerous long concert tours throughout Europe performing in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Austria and England, 1828 she stayed for a long time in Vienna giving concerts and harp lessons to students of the 'highest noblesse' and later for a few years in Milan, 1835 she returned to Paris from a concert tour in Italy and died a month later from nervous fever ; she never married
