violinist 'solo du roi des Belges', received his first musical education from his father Antony Beumer, at the age of 15 he already performed in concerts in the Netherlands and abroad, 1849 violinist at a theatre in Spa Belgium, 1850-1852 studied violin with Charles de Beriot at Brussel Conservatory, 1852 teacher violin and 1860 professor of violin at Brussel Conservatory, violinist at the Muntschouwburg (Theatre Royal de la Monnaie) in Brussel, 1869 his employment was ended because he had abandoned his family which caused a major commotion in Brussel, he left for France where he gave concerts, also with his daughter, 1875 impresario Falcimagne organized a concert tour with Felix Pardon and Beumer which took off 15-20 Feb in Bordeaux and 3-16 Mar performed at Theatre de Limoges and Salle de la Societe Philharmonique in Limoges, Apr 1879 he was engaged for a season at the Casino in Pau, 7.dec.1879 he conducted the orchestra and choirs at the Grand-Theatre de Pau, 1885-1899 teacher accompaniment at Ecole de musique Sainte-Cecile in Bordeaux, 15.nov.1896 in Bordeaux he became naturalized french, 19.mar.1899 his position as teacher violin at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux became vacant because he had died ; 2.mar.1853 in Brussel he married pianist/teacher at Brussel Conservatory Jeanne Palmira Lambele (Brussel 10.may.1830-30.jan.1881 Paris) ; daughter soprano Dyna (Brussel 1.sep.1857-1933 ?Marseille)
