organist, choral conductor, as a child he learned to play the violin and piano, his first teachers in music were A Golembiovsky and Yury Nizhankovsky, as young man he played in the gymnasium string orchestra, studied with Mieczyslaw Soltis and Stanislaw Niewiadomski at Lviv Conservatory, 1908-1935 music teacher in the gymnasiums of Lviv, Tarnov, Stanislav (Ivano-Frankivsk), Ternopil and Zolochyov, later he studied double bass, choral conductor and concertmaster at the Shevchenko concerts and in Ternopol, 7.jul.1949 emigrated to the USA settling in Boston, 6.aug.1950 settling in Buffalo
