Anglican priest, studied with Dafydd Siencyn Morgan at Ystrad Meurig school, 11.nov.1825-1831 BA and later MA from Jesus College University of Oxford England, 1833 ordained priest, 1840 as married clergyman residing at Church Street in Towyn, 1843-1885 clergyman of the parish of Ruabon and vicar of the village Rhosymedre in Denbighshire, 1843-1885 residing at the vicarage at 34 Church Street, 1880 widowed and living with his 38 year old still single daughter whose profession was given as 'clergymans daughter', he died at Llanddoget rectory, the home of his nephew Reverend Evan Jones Edwards ; son of John Edwards ; brother of Richard Edwards (31.jul.1808-) ; he married Catherine Owen (Merionethshire, Talyllyd 1799-) ; they only had one daugther Dorothy L Edwards (Merionethshire, Towyn 1842-)
