with headquarters in Nigeria, 1935-1939 as musical director residing at 88 Brondesbury Villas in London Willesden, 1937 conductor of the Gypsy Orchestra, 1938-1939 founder and leader of the Schrammel Quartet which was recorded and had many radio broadcasts, 1944-1952 residing at 33 Lithos Road in Hampstead, he died at St Charles Hospital Paddington ; 1908 in Manchester Chorlton he married Blanche Buckland (London 1888-1937 London Willesden) ; son Robert (Manchester 1909-), daughter Betty (Manchester 1910-), daughter Dorothy Franzel Frost (London 4.mar.1921-22.oct.1999 New York City) ; 1938 in London Paddington he married Leopoldine Weber (16.oct.1905-a1952)
