guitarist, flutist, c1765-c1787 active in London, residing at his house the Blue-girls-lamp in Newman Street near Soho Square, 23.jun.1766 he became member of the Freemasons Lodge of Immortality No. 376 of the United Grand Lodge of England, 22.may.1776 of the Freemasons Lodge of St Marylebone, 1776 possibly as music teacher in service of the Earl of Buchan, 1786 of Countess Stanhope and 1787 of Lady Campbell ; 26.feb.1767 aged over 21 at Saint Martin in the Fields in London Westminster he married Elizabeth Wippell aged over 21
