organist, teacher at the London College of Music, 1860 residing with his parents at 196 Norwich Road in Diss where his father was organist, 1870 as organist residing with his parents in Bexley, 1880-1910 professor of music residing at villa 'Ashbrooke' Hartford Road Bexley, 1910 his 3 daughters at the age of 30, 31 and 32 were all single and still living with their parents (and a servant) ; son of organist/doctor of music Frederick William Gray (Lincolnshire, Grantham 1827-) and Caroline Mary Long (Suffolk, Halesworth 1828-) ; 1877 in Gravesend Kent he married Bridget Lucy Rising (Norfolk, Somerton 1855-11.jul.1935 Bexley) ; 3 daughters, all never married and all born and died in Bexley: Lucy (1878-1.aug.1936), Lilian Mary (1879-1965) and Eleanor (1881-15.mar.1951)
