pianist, professor of music, conductor, born at 17 Bevenden Street, 1871 residing with his parents, 2 sisters, servant and 3 employees at 24 Field View in Hackney, 1881 as boot clicker residing with his father, stepmother and 6 siblings at 10 Brighton Road in London Hornsey, since 1886 very active as pianist in concerts and recitals, 1894 as professor of music residing at 16 Pembury Road in Hackney, 29.apr.1898 at the Champion Hotel before a large and enthusiastic audience he set the concert going with brilliantly piano playing, 1899 until death manager of King & Co. lessees of the Victoria Pier in Folkestone where he organized concerts, performances, attractions and variety, 1901 as professor of music residing with wife, 2 sons and servant at 38 Cedars Avenue in London Walthamstow, 16.feb.1904 a month before his early death at 39 he directed the musical program at the Victoria Pier, he died from diabetes at 19 Bisterne Avenue ; son of boot manufacturer Benjamin Walter King (Norwich 1838-1918 London Hackney) and Maria Blomfield Amies (Norwich 1842-1873 London Hackney) ; 10.nov.1873 he became stepson of Kate Birt (Norwich 1852-1942 London) ; 3.mar.1894 at St James the Great in Clapton he married Florence Kelly (1872-1957 London Croydon)
