concert pianist, studied piano with his father, aged 10 he already was a virtuoso pianist, started his career playing at concerts with his father and brother in Reims and surroundings, 5.aug.1870 (the evening before the bataille de Reischoffen) he debuted with his brother in a patriotic concert by organist/professor Ernest Duval organized by Societe du 3me Canton ; son of tenor singer/pianist Valery Lefevre (Sains-Richaumont 1813-1892 Reims) and Salaberge Delhorbe (-1874 Reims) ; brother of composer Ernest Lefevre (Reims 7.jun.1853-2.nov.1913 Reims)
