jewish pianist, singer, studied piano with Franz Lauska in Berlin, 1806-1814 she was active as pianist Berlin, 8.sep.1813 baptized and converted to christianity, 22.sep.1813 she married the London merchant John Joseph Liebmann, April 1814 she moved with her husband to London where she studied with Ferdinand Ries, 1819 they moved to Hamburg, 1820 they took the christian name Liebert, in Hamburg she was active as concert singer but no longer as composer, 8.mar.1835 she attended a concert of Clara Schumann in Hamburg which is her last biographical proof, 1847-1848 kaufmann Johann Joseph Liebert resided at B. Cto. Grosse Reichenstrasse hinter no 50 u. 51 in Hamburg, 21.sep.1851 Madame Liebert sang Adelaide in 'Der Liebesbrief' in Riga Latvia, unverifiable sources claim that after 1835 she moved 'emigrated' to Sachsen, visited Vienna Austria and Italy and in the spring of 1859 applied for a passport in Italy
