Marco Albert, Luis Constantino c1935- Spain Alicante, Elda
hornist, euphonium, bandmaster, his usual name was Constantino but in publications he used Luis, studied music with Jose Estruch Marti, he began as musician and bandmaster of military bands, 1971 appointed bandmaster of Banda Municipal de Tarrasa, after 1974 of Banda Municipal de Alcazar de San Juan, several of his works have been repeatedly performed in the USA by bands from Elda, 1967 he had some of his compositions copyrighted in the USA to the housewife Isabel Gordon Bjoraker (Spain, Madrid Vicalvaro 10.jan.1935-) who emigrated to the USA a month after her marriage 2.aug.1953 in Logrono Spain to geologist Robert Wayne Bjoraker (Des Moines Iowa 21.aug.1926-14.mar.2006 Chisago Minnesota), with whom she settled 1954-1998 in Des Moines

In the introduction (Lento), the oboe playes the main theme and whose development reaches enormous strength in the tutti, then gradually it goes preparing the entrance of the choir consisting of three parts, in the first the people sing along with the warriors and is of an energetic and manly character, in the second it is a soprano solo and is feminine, delicate and poetic, the third is a repetition of the first but the instrumental part has more harmonic and contrapuntal richness. In the grand finale the trumpets and trombones play the theme which was done in the introduction by the oboe
