concert pianist, 1911 his family emigrated from Mexico to the USA, settling in San Antonio Texas where they were generally named McMoon immediately after arrival, 1917-1921 as concert pianist and music teacher residing at 112 Cadwallader Street in San Antonio, 1922 he moved to New York for further piano study, 1925-1930 as concert pianist lodging at Park Crescent Hotel, Riverside Drive in New York Manhattan, 1927-1944 he accompanied the hilarious performances of soprano Florence Foster Jenkins, she as a bad singer, he as ashamed pianist hiding behind a screen (probably all acted because she was a high class intelligent woman and received good critics about her singing early in her career), their most famous performance was 25.oct.1944 at Carnegie Hall, 1927 also accompanist to contralto and Victor record artist Elsie Baker, 1945-1960 as concert pianist residing at 38 West 64th Street Manhattan, 11.apr.1960 naturalized American, buried at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio ; son of baker/market vendor Cosme McMunn (Pennsylvania c1868-1916 San Antonio) and dressmaker Maria Valdez (Mexico 1873-17.mar.1960 San Antonio)
