marimba player, designer of keyboard percussion instruments, studied marimba with Philip Rosenweig, 1927-1930 he toured with the Marimba-Celeste, which he had designed and built at the J C Deagan factory in Chicago, 1933 conducted a marimba orchestra of 100 players at the Century of Progress International Exhibition in Chicago, 1940-1942 he made numerous arrangements for marimba and marimba orchestra as employee of Forster Music in Chicago, 1949 designed and built the 'Musser Maestro Marimba Metron' drum machine, 1950 conducted a marimba orchestra of 300 players at the Chicago Railroad Fair, 1942-1952 teacher marimba at Northwestern University in Chicago Evanston, 1952 he entered into a career as scientist and engineer in astronomy
