violinist, mandolinist, innkeeper/host, lived in Vienna in the early 19th century, heir of a wealthy juweler and brewer, pupil and friend of Joseph Mayseder (violinist, Vienna 1789-1863 Vienna), 1817-1822 with Joseph Mayseder he organized concerts at his home in Vienna, 1820 he opened a home theatre and later a concert house and garden at his brewery house where Joseph Lanner and Johann Strauss gave concerts and Franz Schubert was a regular guest
