Ghislanzoni 1979 gives his year of birth as 1350, 1402-1407 and 1414-1416 he was cantor/choirmaster at Milan Cathedral, Nava 1854 interpreted a record of 13.jan.1418 as prove he had died by that date but recent discoveries suggest that he may have been in service of duke Filippo Maria Viscontis until at least 1426
