minister, choral conductor at local churches, precentor at the Saaiwns y Bala, 1850 as cloth and laundry manufacturer residing at 11 Little Street in Bala and 1860 at 145 Tegid Street in Corwen both Merionethshire, until his death he worked as a hand in a cloth factory, he died at Gwenffrwd House Greenfield Street in Holywell with printer/publisher James Kerfoot Evans as only heir of his estate worth 10 pound (apparently he did'nt do well in business), he is best remembered for his hymntune Hyfrydol ; 1840 in Bala he married Elizabeth (Merionethshire, Llanfor 1805-)
