trombonist, 1908-1910 in the Garde-Schutzen band in Berlin, 1910 arranger for Paul Lincke's Apollo Verlag, 1945 died at the eastern war front, he was last heard of 26 January from Posen, he must have died shortly after because the Soviet Army had taken Poznan by 24 January
