mezzosoprano, opera singer, singing teacher, choral conductor, grew up in Rhyl Wales, studied at the Royal College of Music and the National School of Opera in London and the Academy of St Cecilia in Rome, 4.aug/27.sep.1955 she made an American tour with her husband boarding at 44-10 Ketcham Street Elmhurst Long Island, 1955-1969 residing at 141 Banstead Road in Sutton Surrey, 1957 at 18 Parliament Hill in London, 6.sep.1957 she returned with her husband from another American tour, 1962 she had sung in operas of Handel, Rossini, Britten, Monteverdi, Mozart in London and Rome, 1972 in oratorios and recitals with the Handt Ensemble and London Camerata in the UK, Italy, Switzerland and Germany and for BBC, RAI and the Glyndebourne Festival Opera, 1972-1975 still using the name Lensky residing at 21 Tylney Avenue in London Gipsy Hill, 1977-1994 she taught at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, 1995 aged 65 she started composing ; 1953 in London Kensington she married the stateless violinist Jan Lensky (27.jan.1928-) ; 1972 in London Camberwell she married the director of Novello and several other London music publishing firms George Joseph Rizza (Scotland, Banffshire 5.nov.1925-)
