singer, professor of singing, pianist, all her married life she was also called not only Mme Bellet but also Mlle Bellet because her husband added Bellet to his surname, received her musical education from her parents, at the age of seven she read at first sight and sang the lyrics and music of the most difficult light songs, she did very thorough vocal studies and was a pupil of Charles Amable Bataille, graduated as professor of singing at the higher level from the ministere des beaux-arts, 1884 active/residing in Nevers, 1887 in Flers, 1889 in Poitiers and 1893 in Metz where her husband was director of the theatres, 1893 she was applauded at the Concerts Colonne and gave a matinee lyrique at Theatre d'Application in Paris, 1902-1909 professor of singing at her salon 17 Boulevard des Batignolles in Paris, 1910-1912 as professor of singing residing at 25 Rue de Berne in Paris, 9.feb.1911 and 29.jun.1911 she organized concerts of her students Kosakiewicz, Helene Vargas, Gautier, Legoff and Bouffandeau at Salle Lemoine in Paris ; daughter of mathematician and poet Benjamin Maurice Hippolyte Bellet (Saint-Julien-de-l'Escap 14.feb.1830-) and singer and musician Clotilde Juliane Adele Meriel 'Mme Bellet' (Cote-d'Or, Montbard 17.jun.1835-) ; 27.sep.1871 aged 16 in Saint-Julien-de-l'Escap she married bass singer, professor of singing Michel Alfred Sureau (Saint-Jean-d'Angely 16.aug.1846-) ; son professor of singing Daniel Hippolyte Alfred (Paris 26.sep.1873-), son Rene Georges (Belgium, Liege 15.oct.1877-)
